Planning 2017

Now that 2017 is here and people are done posting about all their resolutions and big plans for the year, I feel like I can quickly hop on to the band wagon a bit. I always have goals on the go and am working on or toward something but I’m not much of a resolution girl. It’s not that I think they’re bad, but I find that they can almost bully us into changing everything about ourselves as a way of making our self-worth more tangible and I’ve learned (very slowly) over the years that it’s just not a healthy Read More …

My Personal Thoughts on Polar’s New M200 Running Watch

Disclaimer: I’m a 2016 Polar Ambassador and as such have received an M200 to review and no cost. All opinions are my own. So I’ve been using the new Polar M200 for a few weeks now. The only place I haven’t ventured with it yet is OCR. Though I’m sure the watch can handle it, the thought of it possibly perishing in the thick, sometimes endless, mud makes me too Read More …

Transforming into a Legend.

I’m gradually getting back to running. After, quite literally, running myself into the ground last fall and wondering if my knees would ever feel well enough to run again, I’m taking is slow and building up a base that won’t be enough to ensure a super successful OCR season but I’m not willing to compromise for the sake of too much, too soon. I’ll adapt my goals for my races to meet where I’m at now and will still have fun in the process! A huge part of staying healthy is taking care of my legs. Mobility work, foam rolling, Read More …
