Now that 2017 is here and people are done posting about all their resolutions and big plans for the year, I feel like I can quickly hop on to the band wagon a bit. Spartan Super Manitoba: Race Recap

*Once Spartan releases pictures from the event, I’ll update this post with pics. Unless I look stupid, then I won’t. Long live vanity.* So after yesterday’s deep thoughts inspired monologue, here is the actual race recap for Spartan that I meant to write yesterday before my brain hijacked itself into being all serious and stuff. Last year, I ran the Sprint which is 3+ miles and generally about 20ish obstacles. Dirty Donkey Recap

As of now, I’ve done 2 of my 3 planned obstacle races for the year. The more I do, the more I love them. Tell my younger self that this is what I would be doing for fun and she’d probably try to slap some sense into my current self. It’s pretty awesome. The day started off less than stellar. Running Toward: Procrastination

Happy Belated Father’s day! I hope all you dads out there had an amazing time and were celebrated.  We decided on a more low-key day for our family but don’t let that confuse you with thinking we did nothing. Every runner experiences it. We dread it but we anticipate it because no one is immune.
